This program provides insight into children’s grieving. It goes through support systems, an understanding of what loss is, and the way grief flows. A specific focus of the program is developmental losses, including ways to recognize them and act properly. It also provides age-specific understanding of loss and reactions. A number of activities provide opportunities to get in touch, share, and connect within processing and supporting. The entire program is designed for mental health professionals. It can also be used in direct work with children, or provided for groups of parents, but should always be implemented by mental health professionals.
