Summary
This generation of teens suffers more from anxiety and depression than any other generation before them. The restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic have had a significant impact on their mental health. They spent months in online schooling, being isolated from friends, close family members, and social activities like sports, school performances, graduations, and proms.
Today, many adolescents are stressed, have trouble concentrating and are quickly distracted. They are worried about school, friends, romantic relationships, money, and their futures. Some of them are dealing with bullying or depression. Learning and practicing relaxation techniques will enable teens to relax, develop healthy coping mechanisms to deal with their overwhelming feelings, quiet down their thoughts and come back into the present moment.

• Learning and practicing active relaxation.
• Finding your own happy place to connect with inner peace when confronted with a stressful situation.
